Burgate Sixth Form

Burgate School and Sixth Form have worked with ArtCare for eleven years, producing an exhibition on a theme as part of a ‘live’ project that is an integral part of the A level syllabus for either Art or Photography. Each year the students combine the techniques they are learning at school with the artists they are studying and interpret the theme from the project in response to all these sources in their own unique way.

The theme this year was Collections. Some have used collections of memories, collections of images, collections of materials – including plastic and the destructive impact that the collection of plastic is having on the planet.
