Spring daffodils

You will need

  • Coloured card or paper (yellow, green, orange, white…)
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Glue stick or double sided tape

Instructions

  1. Cut out the petal template on the next page. Draw around it twice on your yellow paper or card
  2. Cut out your 2 shapes
  3. Gentle crease the card along the middle of each petal to give them a 3D shape
  4. Using glue stick or double sided tape stick them together crossing the petals
  5. Cut out a strip of coloured card about 8cm by 3cm, give the top edge a crinkle cut
  6. Along the bottom edge snip along the length with 0.5cm cuts, to create a short frill
  7. Add a bit of double sided tape to one end and then bend up your frill
  8. Coil the strip around your finger and fix using the tape. Push down your finger to make sure your frill is bent over fully
  9. Fix this tube to your petals with double sided tape or glue stick
  10. Decorate a piece of folded card to make an Easter or Mothers Day card
