Fisherton Mill is an art gallery located in a restored Victorian grain mill in Salisbury. It hosts an array of affordable art, regular exhibitions and workshops, plus a dozen artists’ studios where you can see skilled craftspeople at work. The Gallery gift shop sells works from over 200 different artists, including paintings, jewellery, ceramics, glassware, prints, sculpture, lighting and home furnishings for all budgets. There is also a café serving lunches, simple snacks and coffee and cakes.
Salisbury Museum is located in the Cathedral Close. The museum presents world-class displays and exhibitions giving context to the archaeological, historic and artistic riches of Salisbury and south Wiltshire. The Museum has a busy programme of family events, courses, lectures and tours. The temporary exhibition programme includes three major and three minor exhibitions per year, which cover subjects as diverse as history, archaeology and fine art.
