Woolly sheep

You will need

  • sheep template
  • cardboard – cardboard boxes or packing envelopes are perfect or see what you can find in your recycling bin
  • scissors
  • pen and pencil
  • wool, twine, ribbon or long scraps of fabric
  • glue or double-sided tape

Instructions

  1. Draw around template onto medium weight card then cut out. You will need one body and two ears for each hanging sheep or two bodies together and two ears for each standing sheep
  2. Tie one end of the wool around the middle of the sheep’s body. Wrap the wool in a random fashion around the sheep including base of neck and tops of legs. When you have finished cut the end of the wool and tuck it in
  3. You can cut a length of wool and tuck it through the top of the sheep to make a hanger. For the standing sheep fold the legs outwards to stand up
  4. Using glue, glue dots or double-sided tape attach the ears. If you have left the head bard, draw on an eye and any other details you like!
