Drawing made easy! ArtCare's Lesley Self will show you how to create drawings using and ipad or tablet. The session will begin with some warm up exercises and introduce you to some basic drawing principles, before having a go with digital apps. Lesley will demonstrate how to use different digital brushes and blend colours. Find out how to use a photograph as a basis for creating your digital artwork. If you have your own device please bring it along.
Ellie Fisher of Elka Textiles will guide you through the basic principles and terminology of weaving and you will create a small woven piece using a frame loom. You will use a selection of fibres including organic cotton, bamboo, flax and hemp. Clear workshop handouts provided for you to take away with you. Suitable for beginners. Visit Elka Textiles website

Sarah Collins (one of our regular Elevate artists) will introduce you to a range of different songs and styles over the course of 5 weeks, providing opportunities to experiment with harmonies and group singing. A monthly group run by hospital staff enabling you to get creatively inspired, to develop your photographic skills and share feedback on images. Open to all hospital staff and volunteers, whether beginner or more experienced. Practical sessions are regularly arranged and themes chosen by those attending the group.
